An exciting opportunity exists for an Accounts Payable Manager within a growing company based in Leicester.
Salary £30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience

DUTIES INVOLVED IN THIS VACANCY:
*Day to Day Management of the Accounts Payable team
*Support and drive the implementation of a new accounts payable Electronic Data Interchange system
*Ensure efficient and effective processes are implemented across teams
*Manage and improve the accounts payable controls environment and remediate any control deficiencies.
*To support the Head of Transactional Processing with key responsibilities and projects.
*To manage monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information
*Creating, publishing and monitoring of KPI's for the Accounts Payable Team
*Driving continuous improvement and seeking innovative solutions to complex issues
*Work closely with key Internal and External stakeholders
*Performance Management, to set targets and objectives for the team and monitor progress
*Experience and understanding of Accounts Payable
*Experience of managing a team
*Excellent communication and the ability to communicate at all levels with both customers and colleagues
*MS Office suite, including knowledge of Excel. "Intermediate" standard
*Preferably, experience of implementing an Accounts Payable Electronic Data Interchange solution
*Adaptable and pro-active, with positive outlook and adaptable to change
*Well organised with ability to effectively prioritise and manage workloads of self and team
