AIR Export Coordinator

We are recruiting for an experienced AIR Export Coordinator based in Irlam for one of the largest global freight forwarders, operating within a worldwide network. You will ensure all AIR export shipments effectively and efficiently meet and exceed your customer and our client's expectations. Providing customer service excellence, efficiency, financial, quality and safety targets are met at all times.

Pay rates for the AIR Export Coordinator

Pay Rate: £10.50 £12.50 per hour (up to £26k equivalent)
Hours of work: Mon-Fri 09:00 - 17:30 (40 hours)
Start date: ASAP
Duration: Temp ongoing

Duties of the AIR Export Coordinator

* Picking up and processing air freight
* Organising pickups
* Customer service - confident to undertake all elements of customer interaction
* Operational element - arranging flights with gateway department or airline, customs entries/clearances, all client documentation, information and compliance
* Financial elements - some AP, confirming invoice amounts to customer, data entry, checking and entering dossier numbers etc

The ideal AIR Export Coordinator candidate will have experience in the following

* Highly skilled freight forwarder - end to end
* Relevant Air Export experience
* Skilled in all aspects to include booking lfights, client documentation, information and compliance
* Excellent Customer Service Skills
* Worked to milestones, KPI's, SLA's previously
* Good PC skills
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative in a busy environment
* Attention to detail
* Proactive approach
