An exciting and brand new opportunity exists for an Assistant Commercial Manager to join a leading manufacturing company based in Coalville
Basic Salary of up to £28,000 per annum

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to come in and support the Commercial Manager in a a new commercial department.
DUTIES INVOLVED IN THIS VACANCY:
*Create a productive, efficient day to day functioning of the commercial department and the staff within by providing strong positive leadership and management.
*Work to and exceed departmental standards and KPIs.
*Look at improving current processes to make for a more efficient customer service
*Identify failures and work to put measures in place to correct and/or minimise repeat occurrence.
*Ensure customer expectations are met by the commercial department.
*Support & review commercial staff to make sure they are operating to the best of their ability and to identify any areas for development.
*Manage the staff time clock facility and manage staff absence requests.
*Monitor the phone system call queues to ensure adequate cover at all times.
*Provide administrative support to the Area Sales Managers.
*Assist the Commercial Manager maintain and review all net pricing.
*Carry out or assist Commercial Manager with HR related tasks.
*Coordinating feedback and escalation of problems to Commercial Manager.
*You will have proven experience of team management in a fast paced, high pressured environment.
*Ideally you will have experience in change management and formation of new teams/departments.
*It is essential you have a proven customer service background, ideally with telephone based experience.
*You will be a natural strong leader.
*Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*You will have numerical ability to be able to work with prices and technical product information.
*Strong time management, planning skills and the ability to multi-task is essential in this role.
*You must be able to work under pressure to deliver a high standard of service
*Working closely with the Commercial Manager on a number of management issues but is also key that you are able to work on your own initiative.
*You must have a full UK driving license, access to own vehicle and be in a position to reliably commute
