With a busy workload our Client is looking for a mid-level permanent interior designer to join there company. We are looking for a talented & enthusiastic individual to join their design team in designing, project managing and administrative duties.
What's on Offer?
£18,000 to £24,000 - depending on experience
Full-time Weekdays 9-6pm + Saturday 10-3pm
Ideal candidate must be:
Fluent in AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator & Google Sketch Up
Have a degree in Interior Design, or other relevant qualification
Have extensive previous experience of residential interior design
Understand the design process and ability to manage/deliver from concept to completion
Sales & retail experience
Sharp ability to pick up new design packages
Possess a confident and creative design flair to produce concepts, presentations
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent organisational and punctuality skills - must be willing to travel to NW10 daily
Proven communication skills - ability to listen and understand all briefs
Excellent note taking skills - must be able to write and communicate words clearly
Fluent in English. A polite and professional phone manner - must be able to communicate clearly
Training for quoting package will be provided in-house along with product training from manufacturers, including factory/showroom visits to the manufacturers.
Strong team player - has to have an enthusiastic & flexible approach. This role will also require multi-tasking
Working mainly with AutoCAD & Abode Illustrator, the successful applicant must be confident in producing 2D flat plans & elevations, 3D renders, mood boards & comprehensive presentations.
Hand sketching, knowing how to use CAD is a must with good skills on other programs like Google Sketchup, Illustrator.
Candidate should have good English speaking, reading and writing skills and has been in the UK for 2 or more years.
Responsibilities and Duties
Meeting and greeting clients during their visit to the showroom
Attending phones and taking messages and relating them to the relevant member of staff
Making sure the samples and the showroom is kept tidy
Filing documents to the relevant projects folders
Ordering samples and brochure from the relevant suppliers
