Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for a Business Account Manager within a leading company based in North Leicestershire.

Basic Salary of up to £21,000 per annum
Generous bonus OTE £30,000 +

*Management of a portfolio of business accounts, to include renewal, growth and retention of existing accounts
*Dealing with all areas of customer service related to the accounts to ensure excellent delivery of customer service
*High volume of outbound sales calls to generate orders for tonnage delivery, through marketing campaigns to include but not limited to, Non Taken, out of cycle, pull forward.
*To participate to specific campaigns targeting key market sectors at planned times throughout the year to generate prospect data for future marketing campaigns and identify current LPG users across both Bulk and Cylinders and to fully qualify leads and record results accurately
*Efficient desk based relationship management of c 700 accounts.
*Commercial Lead Generation for the external sales team working towards pipeline targets for both Bulk and Cylinder users
*To manage the incoming retention queries for both Commercial Bulk and Cylinder Customers
*Client development utilising the current Customer Relationship Management tool to its full potential.
*Co-ordination of monthly information by working closely with other departments within the head office function.
*To deliver defined sales targets for new business cylinder sales
*To develop a strong working relationship with the AS's to support conversion of all leads both internally and externally
*To use a professional telephone manner, to build rapport and practice strong questioning skills
*To assist with inbound customer service during the winter period when requested to support the delivery of excellent customer service

*Experience in Account Management / Telephone sales
*Experience of working in a professional customer focused environment
*Knowledge of CODAS, Qlikview and internal admin systems. (Internal applicants only)
*High level of IT literacy, in particular Microsoft Excel, Office, Power Point
*Committed, persuasive and personable with fluent written and verbal communication skills
*High level of accuracy and attention to detail
*Ability to understand financial data, with a high level of numeracy
*Willing to learn new skills and accept new challenges
*Puts sustained effort into building influential relationships
*Retains honesty and integrity at all times
*Able to understand and negotiate basic financial and commercial terms
*Able to remain close to the customer to identify needs and opportunities
*Strives to identify and develop a range of solutions tailored to the customer's needs
