We are recruiting a Graduate Buyer to join our clients well established and growing business, based in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast paced and dynamic working environment. This is a full time permanent position; salary is up to £22,000 per annum with some great company benefits.
*Full Time Permanent role
*£22,000 per annum
*Up to 42 hours a week
*Mon-Fri (some weekends required for events)
*Staff benefit scheme
*Childcare Voucher scheme
The successful candidate will be based in the companies Head Office site in Nottingham, some of the duties will include:
*Negotiating prices with suppliers, for existing and new product lines
*Build and maintain new and existing relationships with suppliers
*Checking and updating stock availability
*Review Sales and react to changes accordingly
*Ensure goods are delivered on time
*Responsible for any promotional activity
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
*Degree in Business Management, Business, Supply Chain or Procurement Advantageous
*Ability to work with data, and analyse promotions, work on range reviews
*Able to prioritise workload and demonstrate organisational and management skills
*Excellent Written and numerical skills
*Confident and at ease negotiating and networking
*Supply Chain understanding
*Able to work on own initiative, work as part of a team as well as independently
*IT literate and able to use All Microsoft packages
*Willing to learn new skills, multitask and adapt to changes
