Job Description

Job Title: Customer Service Advisor
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £8.75 per hour
Duration: Temporary

We are currently recruiting Customer Service Advisors for a leading utilities company based in Oxford. The position will be working on a shift between 8am - 10pm (40 hours per week).

Our ideal candidate will be a strong and flexible team player and will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and people skills in a Customer Service environment. They will also have a great knowledge of Microsoft Packages. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established organisation.

General activities will include;

- Handling inbound calls from customers
- Promoting products and services
- Listening to customer needs, developing appropriate solutions
- Entering data accurately on to the in-house system
- Dealing with all emails and responding efficiently
- Building rapport with clients and customers
- Following companies policies and procedures
- Retaining high levels of customer service on all calls

Ideal candidates will have the following;

- Previous experience within a similar position
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong listening skills and a customer service focused approach
- Good I.T. skills
- Exceptional Communication skills both verbally and written
- Problem solving skills
- Great organisational skills
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to change
