Hours: 38 hours pw (Mon-Fri, 8.30am-4.30pm)

The Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Administrator for our client in London nearby Finsbury park, one of the UK's leading transport company's. We are on the lookout for people who have previous experience of working as an Administrator or within a HR background, with a strong work ethic and an history of providing excellent Customer Service.
The role involves taking queries, chasing detail and updating records, and you must be proactive and be able to follow up and prioritise activities. Communication is key in this role as the successful candidate will be dealing with employees up to Director level, but the ideal candidate would have knowledge on HR Framenworks and regulations but this is not essential.

The successful HR Administrator will be responsible for:
- Adding new starters/entrants to system
- Ideally some HR project work or pieces of project work
- Payroll queries/updates
- Queries re HR processes - leave entitlement etc
- Updating spreadsheets, maintaining detail for reporting and tracking
- Referencing
- Mail merges
- Health & safety related admin

The desired skills of the HR Administrator

- Proven track record of success in a very busy fast paced environment
- Strong customer service skills - able to liaise at all levels
- Intermediate experience in MS Office programmes and particularly Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, V-lookups and formulas
- The ability to work on a number of priority projects at the same time
- A team player, who is approachable and must have good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work on their own initiative
- Knowledge of the OpenPeople HR system would be an advantage.
