Job Description

We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Inventory Manager to work on an interim contract for a leading travel company based in their central warehouse in Northampton. They will pay £200 - £300 per day depending on experience. It will be 4 weeks initially but likely to be extended.

*Physical stock needs to be reconciled against the 3rd party warehouse management system and then also reconciled with the SAP system.
*Stock includes all in flight retail items, cigarettes, tobacco, alcohol, perfume and makeup gift products.
*All stock to be accounted for and outputs will be to document discrepancies and formally report on findings.

*Extensive experience at a senior level in a 3PL/Warehouse/Inventory role
*Relevant qualifications in Warehouse, Distribution and Storage Operations
*Experience with 3rd party warehouse operations
*Strong inventory management skills
*Foundation Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or equivalent HND
*Relevant CILT certificate
*Extensive experience of working in a 3PL environment for large organisations
*Working knowledge of warehouse IT systems
*Gravitas and authority to drive forward with the set agenda
*Assertive and able to push back where applicable
*Knowledge of warehouse processes and procedures
*Stock reconciliation
*Reporting skills
