An exciting and brand opportunity exists for an IT Project Manager to join a growing distributor based in Loughborough.
Salary £35,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience
33 days holiday inc. Bank holidays
This is a challenging role, requiring a highly motivated and organised individual to oversee the day-to-day running of the department whilst ensuring the company facilities and IT systems are maintained to the high standard necessary in a GMP/GDP environment. Another key aspect of the role will be providing support and direction to the department for the implementation of site-wide IT and Infrastructure projects.
DUTIES INVOLVED IN THIS VACANCY:
*Managing and leading major projects; from server replacements to building projects.
*Managing the day-to-day workload of the Administration Assistants (IT and Facilities), ensuring department deadlines are met.
*Monitoring the performance of the Administration department by tracking KPIs.
*Striving for continuous improvement of departmental processes for optimal efficiency.
*Overseeing the maintenance of business-critical facilities and infrastructure systems within both office and warehouse settings.
*Co-ordinating the work of contractors to ensure minimum disruption to core business activities.
*Checking that works carried out by contractors are completed as required and to a satisfactory level; ensuring that any deficiencies are followed up.
*Attending meetings and liaising with department managers as required.
*Responding appropriately to urgent issues as they arise and taking responsibility for finding suitable resolutions.
*Experience managing projects from start to finish.
*Basic line management experience and/or experience co-ordinating the workload of a small team.
*Experience in IT.
*Excellent organisation and time management skills.
*Strong Microsoft Office / IT skills.
*Good formal documentation writing ability
