Job Description

We are urgently recruiting for Manufacturing Team Leaders on behalf of one of the world's most successful manufacturers of equipment to the Food, Pharma, Chemical and Engineering sectors. Established for over 100 years, this is an exciting time to be joining the organisation and this role will offer a permanent contract, autonomy and genuine prospects for progression.

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to motivate a team, be organised and flexible with the ability to review and solve problems as well as communicating effectively at all levels.

15% shift premium

Monday to Thursday (14.00 to 22.00)


Develop and motivate a team, maintain good relations and cooperation between all processes
Assessment and adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental standards
Manage resources within your given area to optimise performance and productivity
Ensure effective communication to other shift leaders and conduct departmental meetings, ensuring communication boards are up to date
Provide positive, timely response to requests for information in order to satisfy customer needs
Ensure all necessary inventory requirements and transactions are carried out in a timely fashion (requisitions, transfers, cycle counting etc.)
Strive for continuous improvement by initiating and supporting continuous improvement events


Previous experience within a manufacturing/production environment with supervisory experience
Good understanding of Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental aspects
Thorough understanding of production processes with the ability to analyse and act upon output data
Able to work to, achieve and improve KPI (Key Performance Indicator) targets
Demonstrated experience of continuous improvement techniques
Ability to demonstrate a positive, proactive and solutions driven approach
Good standard of numeracy and literacy
IT literate (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
