An exciting opportunity exists for a Marketing Planner within a leading retailer based in Leeds initially offered on a 6 month fixed term contract.
Salary £25,000 - £27,000 per annum depending on experience

As Marketing Planner, you will be responsible for working with a number of different teams to understand their priorities and aligning it with our corporate marketing plan. Putting the customer at the heart of your decisions you will ensure that we are providing relevant content for our marketing that will also drive business growth.
DUTIES INVOLVED IN THIS VACANCY:
*Engage with key stakeholders to gain understanding of their business priorities
*Review secondary research, insights, customer trends, past performance autopsy and competitor landscape to inform decisions on development of marketing solutions
*Prepare ad hoc marketing briefs for key Services campaigns, in-store marketing, POS and other marketing activities. Gather inputs from Customer Insight, Commercial, Operational and Marketing teams to be included in the briefs
*Work closely with the wider marketing teams to understand what channels are used for customer communication and help define processes, ways of working and best practice
*Support the Senior Manager in all aspects of research, planning, prioritising and aligning 'Services' activity with the rest of the customer function
*Knowledge of marketing channels, events, campaigns etc.
*Ability to use customer insight to drive meaningful actions
*Strong organisational and communication skills
*Ability to build relationships cross functionally, challenge and drive stakeholder alignment
*Passion for the customer
*Ability to work at pace and with great attention to detail and produce compelling outputs
*Ability to multi-task and reprioritise
*A pro-active self-starter who can independently spot and act upon opportunities
