Ocean Export Coordinator

We are recruiting for an experienced Ocean Export Coordinator based in Irlam for one of the largest global freight forwarders, operating within a worldwide network. You will ensure all Ocean export shipments effectively and efficiently meet and exceed your customer and our client's expectations. Providing customer service excellence, efficiency, financial, quality and safety targets are met at all times.

Pay rates for the Ocean Export Coordinator

Pay Rate: £10.50 £12.50 per hour (up to £26k equivalent)
Hours of work: Mon-Fri 09:00 - 17:30 (40 hours)
Start date: ASAP
Duration: Temp ongoing

Duties of the Ocean Export Coordinator

* Picking up and processing shipments
* Customer service - confident to undertake all elements of customer interaction
* Operational element -ocean exports ie customs clearances, all client documentation, information and compliance
* Financial elements - some AP, confirming invoice amounts to customer, data entry, checking and entering dossier numbers etc

The ideal Ocean Export Coordinator candidate will have experience in the following

* Skilled in all aspects of ocean exports ie customs clearances, client documentation, information and compliance
* Experience of dealing with ocean carriers and suppliers and deliver corrective actions when necessary.
* Highly skilled freight forwarder - end to end
* Excellent Customer Service Skills
* Worked to milestones, KPI's, SLA's previously
* Good PC skills
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative in a busy environment
* Attention to detail
* Proactive approach
