PROCUREMENT ADMINISTRATOR
An exciting opportunity exists for a Procurement Administrator within a growing company based in Nottingham.

BENEFITS:
Salary £17,000 - £18,000 per annum depending on experience
Company Pension
33 days holiday inc. Bank holidays

Due to the company's growing success they are looking to recruit an administrator into their busy procurement department that purchases a wide range of IT systems and Windows based systems to specialist media & entertainment specific hardware and software.

DUTIES INVOLVED IN THIS VACANCY:
*Purchasing software via the ERP system, ensuring that license details are passed on to customers in a timely an effective manner.
*Ensuring software purchasing issues are dealt with effectively.
*Answering a high volume of purchasing and product related requests from the business.
*Process requests for company travel, hotel bookings and hire cars as well as ad-hoc requests for non-core product and services purchasing as required by the wider business.
*Ensure estimated time of arrival (eta) data is up to date in the system. Assist purchasers to manage exceptions in the form of items on back orders, out of date pricing, and changes to availability etc.
*Assist the Apple team with Apple specific administration support (DEP) as required.
*Processing and uploading supplier price lists to ensure that the internal ERP system (SID) pricing is up to date and accurate.
*Respond to product and order queries from the sales team and wider business in a timely and courteous manner, researching and creating new product Item codes in the ERP system.
*Manage the purchasing team shared email box to ensure that communication flows around the business are effective.

THE CANDIDATE:
*Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels.
*Commercial acumen, ability to analyse data to make and justify decisions.
*IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly, MS Office experience is essential, working knowledge of Excel preferred.
*Ability to quickly learn and retain knowledge with regards to products and processes.
*Experience in a business environment, preferably with procurement responsibilities but will consider candidates working in administration or customer facing roles looking to move in to procurement or the IT industry.
