An exciting opportunity exists for a Product Support Administrator within a growing company based in Milton Keynes. Initially offered on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
Salary £22,000 - £26,000 per annum depending on experience
33 days holiday inc. Bank holidays
This is mainly an administrative and co-ordination role where a high level of rigor and an eye -for-detail is required to maintain systems & processes and flexibility to provide project support to the Team.
DUTIES INVOLVED IN THIS VACANCY:
*Undertakes the admin support activities required on specific development projects.
*Pricing - Collates data for new item requests, price issues and product lead-times and provides outline pricing schedule on behalf of PS Manager to enable business decisions to be made.
*Compiles data from 'first-off' production runs and co-ordinates the completion of relevant authorisation and support documentation.
*Liaise with the Quality and Technical teams to ensure compliance and associated checks are completed along with claims checks.
*Organise, update and maintain documents and specifications
*Monitor specific processes and procedures with new suppliers. E.g. working closely with the replenishment team on order placement for new or existing component artworks, controls the move of artworks.
*Capture data from web-based sources and collate information for reports.
*Collate project updates, information & commercial data to marketing and sales functions
*Project manage compliance and process improvement projects.
*Basic knowledge of manufacturing process or product based industry and demonstrate commercial awareness
*Knowledge and ability to use MS Office and IT systems to record and track information
*Basic understanding of an ERP system and able maintain master data systems
*Excellent data entry skills - able to enter error free data into a number of systems (both electronic & manual) and demonstrate numeracy, arithmetic and analytical skills
*Able to prioritise conflicting deadlines and manage own workload
*Communicate clearly & professionally - using face-to-face, telephone & E-mail - both internally across European offices and externally with suppliers.
*Proven experience of working in an administrative role. Ideally in a product- based industry in one of the following functions: Supply chain, Purchasing, Quality or specifications.
