Project Coordinator / Markfield

This Project Coordinator role is based from our clients head office in Markfield. This role will be working alongside and supporting the Project Engineering Manager and their team of Clients and Sub-contractors.

This role will involve carrying out project administration, control of Documents, Bills of Subcontractors. You will be managing Engineering Changes and Job Packs, deliver information to Electrical Engineers, allowing smooth delivery of supply to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background and a background in electrical, Engineering, and procurement.

Project Coordinator role:
Working as part of a busy team you will be responsible for the following;
*Managing Health and Safety aspects for the business
*Assisting in preparation of bid documents
*Logging and control (distribution) of project correspondence and updating the Project team as required
*Updating Job Charts and schedules.
*Quantifying and dealing with Contracts for sub-contractors.
*Managing Procurement of Subcontractors
*Collating and producing O&M Manuals and professional delivery back to Customer
*Manage external accreditations, Chas, Constructionline
*Support estimating team with Electrical Take offs
*Liaise with Suppliers & Customers
*Booking training for staff to achieve Health & Safety requirements for site work

Project Coordinator Skills:
Qualifications and experience:
*GCSE - Level 4 minimum in English and Maths
*Previous experience within an administrative role is essential
*Proficient with Microsoft Office professional applications (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint.)
*Ability to communicate effectively to both Clients and work colleagues
*Excellent attention to detail
*Ability to organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
*Ability to work in a team environment
*Previous experience within an engineering company advantageous
*CAD Knowledge
*Construction Industry knowledge would be beneficial but not essential.
