An excellent opportunity has arisen for experienced Purchasing Clerk to join one of the UK's most successful suppliers of lighting and sound equipment to schools, colleges and theatres. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful, family owned business.
To be successful in this role you will need previous experience within a procurement environment
Competitive basic salary of circa £17,000 to £18,000 per annum
28 days' holiday (including statutory days)
40 Hours per week (Monday to Friday)
DUTIES INVOLVED IN THIS VACANCY:
Support the purchasing department with regards to equipment procurement
Seek out best pricing at all times
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and update CRM and price lists
Communicate with staff with regards to incoming and outgoing equipment
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATES FOR THIS VACANCY:
Previous experience in a similar purchasing role
A good standard of education
IT literate with excellent knowledge of MS Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
