SENIOR
An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Accounts Technician to join a well-established busy finance team in the Loughborough area reporting directly to the Finance Director. The successful candidate will be accountable for general book keeping duties for a number of clients.

BENEFITS:
Full time permanent position
Monday - Friday 35 hours per week
Salary £19,000 - £25,000 depending on experience
28 Days Annual leave (Inc.Bank Hols)

DUTIES INVOLVED IN THIS VACANCY:
As a Senior Accounts Technician you will be trained to handle your own accounts, the main duties will include, however are not limited to;
*Looking after Sales ledger, Purchase Ledger, Bank Reconciliations Accruals and Prepayments, Trial Balances.
*Checking and preparing ledger balances.
*Assisting in the preparation of monthly & yearly accounts.
*Updating the fixed asset register, Posting journal entries, Preparing weekly/monthly reports
*Credit control & paying suppliers
*Dealing with customer queries & general customer service
*Producing weekly & monthly reports for each client in line with the service agreement
THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will have previous accounting experience and have accomplished interpersonal skills along with;
*Enthusiasm and tenacity to strive for continuous improvement
*Attention to detail
*The ability and confidence to talk over the phone in an open office environment
*Organised and methodical approach to working under tight deadlines.
*Flexible & Driven
*Problem solving ability, detail orientated and ability to manage and prioritise a multiple of tasks
*Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, Sage Accounts 50)

DESIRABLE;
*Experience in accounting within the healthcare sector
