An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Compliance Administrator within a growing healthcare company based in Central London (EC4Y). This will be initially offered on a temporary contract for 2 months but with the opportunity to be extended or made permanent.
Salary £10.00 - £15.00 per hour depending on experience
28 days holiday inc. Bank holidays
You will aid the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and Head of Information Governance in ensuring compliance with legal deadlines for information requests made under relevant legislation, notably under the GDPR and DPA 2018. Day to day duties will involve managing the data requests inbox, chasing departments to obtain data and required documents, confirmation and logging, updating spreadsheets etc.
The ideal would be to find someone with a healthcare background and knowledge of GDPR and data regulations however the client are happy to train on the healthcare side and the IT system as long as they can secure a temp with reasonable awareness of the compliance side.
*Strong grasp of Microsoft Office generally and have used other IT products (either client in house bespoke or off the shelf) which will show the HM they can be easily trained in Adobe
*Spreadsheets/Excel - strong user
*Awareness of information governance and broad understanding of GDPR and Data Protection laws - Data Protection Act 2018 & GDPR principles
*Excellent organisational and communication skills, will use their integrity and judgement at all times and carry out their role in a professional manner.
*Happy to commit to the full initial 2 months and happy with a role that could be quite laborious
*Experience gained in an information governance (IG) role, ideally within the health sector.
*A good understanding of information governance, who would like the opportunity to translate their knowledge in to practical application in the private health sector.
*Previous experience handling Subject Access Requests (SAR's) - SAR Coordination, SAR processing, reviewing and redaction
