SENIOR PR & COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE
A brand new and exciting opportunity exists for a PR & Communications Executive to join a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Loughborough.

BENEFITS:
Salary £30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience

The main focus around the role will be to serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external parties on all matters of Public Relations (PR) and communication.

DUTIES INVOLVED IN THIS VACANCY:
*Develop, manage, support and monitor all marketing communication activities for the business and ensure marketing strategies and the brand message are implemented across all digital, social and print platforms.
*Be aware of all communication channels and their utilisation in promoting the business.
*Write, edit and proofread all communications materials and to ensure brand consistency and compliance e.g. emails, presentations, internal newsletters, websites, articles for clients.
*Prepare speeches and press releases, as required, for the CEO and Senior Management Team for internal and external events to ensure a consistent message is presented by to internal and external parties. To act as company spokesperson as and when appropriate on behalf of the CEO.
*To assist with the organisation of external and internal events and develop speaker briefs as necessary.
*To help design, develop and maintain the new website and exercise editorial control over the website's content and design, ensuring the website and all social media is always fully operational and the content is up-to-date.
*To create written content for external channels and to contribute to the on-going development of social media channels, playing an active part in monitoring and maintaining the company's social media presence.
*To contribute to the overall planning and development of internal and external communication activities, exploring opportunities for innovative communications through all available channels, utilising the creative use of new media channels, tools and techniques.
*To work closely with journalists for the production and distribution of press releases, using best endeavours to ensure receives the greatest level of media coverage possible in every instance.

THE CANDIDATE:
*Demonstrable experience in business marketing and ideally PR.
*Knowledge of working within the Healthcare or pharmaceutical industry would be a distinct advantage.
*A professional journalism or marketing qualification or degree is preferred.
*Excellent attention to detail and proof-reading skills.
*Excellent written and spoken English
*The ability to prioritise a varied and demanding workload.
*Excellent planning and organisational skills
*'Can do' attitude
