SIGNAGE ESTIMATOR

A great opportunity exists for a Signage Estimator within a growing company based in Leicester. The aim of this particular role is to provide the best price that will win a contract in a competitive bidding situation, whilst ensuring the contract can be carried out profitably, alongside also completing a majority of office based duties.

BENEFITS:
Salary £18,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience
Full Time Position - 08:30 - 17:00 with a 1 hour lunch break
Nest Workplace Pension
24 days holiday plus 8 Bank holidays

DUTIES:
*Speaking to customers on the telephone, face-to-face and via email
*Arranging site surveys with customers
*Advising on signage requirements
*Calculating costs for nlabour and materials for large and smaller bespoke projects
*Process quotes with attention to detail and in a timely manner
*Completing basic design proofs/double checking for errors
*Liasing with customers and production team members
*Sourcing new suppliers and negotiating long term cost solutions
*Converting enquiries to sales orders
*Maintain and fully utilise the estimating software

SKILLS:
*Previous experience of working within the sign industry is essential
*Previous sales experience will be an advantage
*Computer literate with experience of Adobe illustrator being an advantage
*Excellent oral and written communicational skills

Applicants need to be commercially savvy, have previous estimating experience, and be able to read and understand architectural experience, specifications and other related documentation. Good technical knowledge, a keen-interest in sign making, and excellent time management and organisational skills are also very important.
