ASSISTANT BUILDING SURVEYOR / SPECIFICATION WRITER

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading multinational facilities management and construction company. The role is to be based out of their offices in Bracknell however travel to sites may be required. This role is ideal for a graduate with 2-3 years' experience in a similar role looking for a new opportunity within a multinational organisation that can offer excellent career progression.

THE SALARY

*£25-35k dependent upon experience
*22 days annual leave

THE ROLE

The role is to work within the clients' construction arm of the business and covers all areas of construction except for new builds. (These projects are normally renovations and extensions etc with a value between £10k and £10mil) The role as specification writer / assistant building surveyor is to work alongside the senior design team and as a result the role has a technical/architectural bias to it. The role of specification writer / assistant building surveyor will be, amongst other tasks, to create bid documentation relating to the project and materials required. To assist the team with the generation of revenue via the production of high quality customer focussed, compelling tenders and propositions, with contract values ranging from £10,000 to £10 million

THE CANDIDATE

This role is ideal for someone with a degree in architecture or similar who has been in a similar role for 2-3 years and is looking for a new challenge. The candidate for the role will have a strong technical/architectural background and be in a similar role where they can bring many transferrable skills with them
